OUR BRANDS
It all began back in 1989, when Peter Pössl realised his idea of designing a panel van fit for recreational use, thereby revolutionising the motorhome. For it was this compared mode of touring – a combination of the handiness of a van with the comfort of a motor caravan – that created a fully new category of motorhome. The PÖSSL make was born.
2004 saw the birth of the GLOBECAR mark as a designer series marketed under the company’s own name. In 2012, the CLEVER VANS name was added to the PÖSSL GROUP, before it became the price-conscious model brand of the ROADCAR range. The PÖSSL GROUP‘s product range now numbers more than 30 panel van models with a Fiat Ducato or Citroën Jumper base.
And the new member of the family should not be overlooked either: The VANLINE, which comprising the PÖSSL GROUP’s compact bus class. The compact CAMPSTER and VANSTER with a minibus format based on the Citroën Spacetourer or Peugeot Traveller – the ideal companion for dayto- day trips, recreational travel and lengthy touring. Since 2021, the CAMPSTAR and VANSTAR ranges have been augmented with Mercedes Vito and V Class-based models. The same year saw the arrival on the market of the e-VANSTER, the PÖSSL GROUP‘s first fully-electric camping van. With this year’s new models comes the next highlight – the Roadstar X.
